Food, Water and 7 Billion People: An Esri Story Map

We know that fresh water is an invaluable resource that we depend upon for agriculture and industry. But, much of the water we depend upon is in short supply or polluted. Food, Water and 7 Billion People is an Esri Story Map by Karl Chastko that earned third place in the International Year of Global Understanding Story Map competition. Karl is an undergraduate student at McMaster University in the School of Geography & Earth Sciences, with the Story Map exploring topics including linking agriculture and the Ogallala aquifer in the southwestern US and the Colorado.
